Dear friends, families, and everyone in between..
The year almost come to an end and we are so grateful of 2018 of being such a dazzling debut year for our constellation. We´ve been documenting this year in a live album format and we´re more than happy to present it to you for the very first time on a chill laid-back Sunday concert, in good ól Vetomat. We will release the digital version of the album on that date, but we really want to release it properly also in Vinyl format! We r gonna need your help to do that! As you mostly know, producing vinyl is quite costly and risky (sales wise), but we want to do it anyway because we still have faith in honouring the creation (the music) itself, and the people who still appreciate proper physical release. So in the same day, we will also launch a crowd funding campaign to support this vinyl project. We will bring some new merchandise ideas to this concert such grau& coffee and other crazy shites, and hopefully you are on of the people who are keen on supporting this rather un-logic project to keep on going 🙂 . About the Album:
F O R A M I N I F E R A is a debut album from grau&. Consisting 3 live studio album and 6 live compositions from our various live performances that we recorded along 2018. F O R A M I N I F E R A represented not only our current live performance format and set-up, but also creative journey that we´ve been through since our early cinematic constellation formed back then in Winter 2017. The struggle and enjoyment between producing classic „song“ composition structure and live „liquid“ improvisation set, is the heart and soul of this album. We are trying to deliver this by mixing our 3 classic songs (with structure and vocals) and our improvisation ritual that (dominantly) always be a part of our live set. We also thrilled to have Dutch artist Rianne Douven ´s painting as the cover on this album. Live recorded in various venues in Germany. Mixed by Maximilian Kupi.
